Salary:$44,998.00                           

Requirements include:

 Ø       High school diploma  or equivalent.

Ø       Valid Illinois driver’s license.

Ø       21 to 35 years of age at time of application (except as otherwise provided by state statute).

Ø       U.S. citizen.

Ø       Meet the requirements established by the Board of Fire and Police Commission.

Applications available at the Channahon Police Department, 24555 S. Navajo Dr. Street, Channahon, Illinois, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Completed applications must be received by 5:00 p.m., June 20, 2008

The hiring process includes:

Ø       Orientation/ written examination.

Ø       Physical agility test..

Ø       Oral interview.

Ø       Polygraph.

Ø       Psychological examination.

Ø       Background investigation.

Ø       Medical examination/drug screen.
