TAX CODE MAPS

The Village of Channahon is located within five townships in Will and Grundy Counties.  Boundaries for other taxing bodies such as elementary and high school districts, the Channahon Park District, library districts, and fire districts vary throughout the Village.  The taxing bodies affecting a particular parcel of property will depend on where that parcel is located.  To determine the tax rate for an individual parcel, you need to know the tax code in which the parcel is located.  The tax code provides the total tax rate for all taxing bodies covering that area.  If you live in Will County, you can check the Will County map to determine the tax code and total tax rate for your property.  If you live in Grundy County, please refer to the Grundy County map.  Please note: These maps are provided for informational purposes only.  To verify the tax code of a parcel, contact the Will County Treasurer's Office at 815-740-4675 or the Supervisor of Assessment's Office in Grundy County at 815-941-3269.  You will need to have the Parcel Identification Number (PIN) for the property when you call.
