Pickup Days
Refuse pickup occurs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the Village of Channahon. To check your address for your specific pickup day, please visit Environmental’s website.
Place carts and/or bags at the curb with wheels against the curb by 6 a.m. on collection days and remove the same day. Keep carts at least four feet from parked cars, mailboxes and other obstacles that may prevent Environmental Recycling & Disposal team members from picking it up.
Holiday Collection Schedule
Weekday holidays will delay collection by one day for the remainder of the week. For example, if a holiday falls on a Monday, Monday customers will be collected on Tuesday and Tuesday customers will be collected on Wednesday.
During the weekday holidays listed below, please be prepared for a one day service delay.
