With COVID-19 cases in our region continuing to rise and in order to do our part to limit the exposure of both our employees and our residents and the spread of the virus, the Channahon Village Hall will be temporarily closed to the public beginning Monday, November 16, 2020 through November 27, 2020, at which time we will re-evaluate the situation.

Additionally, the Village of Channahon is permitting, but discouraging, public attendance at Village board meetings, beginning with the Monday, November 16, 2020 board meeting, until further notice. Those attending Village board meetings will be required to comply with social distancing requirements and the Village will enforce the Governor's mandate prohibiting the gathering of 10 or more people. The Village will provide call-in information ahead of board meetings for the public to listen to the meeting and provide comment during the designated public comment and public hearing portions of the agenda.
