The Village's annual hydrant flushing is scheduled to begin on September 5 and run through October 11.
During hydrant flushing, some residents may experience temporary water pressure fluctuation and water discoloration; this is a safe, normal part of the hydrant flushing process, but residents may want to consider delaying doing laundry until the lines are clear. Hydrant flushing is a normal preventative maintenance procedure for the Village's water mains and hydrants.
