Where can you recycle electronics?

E-waste pickup through Environmental Recycling & Disposal is available quarterly. You must schedule your pickup at least 24 hours in advance of the pickup day. Additional fees will apply.

Acceptable items include:

  • Computers/equipment
  • TVs
  • Microwaves
  • Stereos
  • Digital equipment
  • Cell phones
  • Video games
  • Microwaves
  • Phones
  • Small appliances

Unacceptable items include commercially sized electronics.

E-waste pickup days will occur:

  • Week of February 24
  • Week of May 18
  • Week of August 24
  • Week of November 16

Additionally, Channahon Township residents are able to drop off electronics every first and third Thursday of the month from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Channahon Township Building, located at 25355 S. Center Street.
