Will County has launched and expanded several recycling programs that are now available to all Channahon residents and businesses, regardless of the county associated with your mailing address.

Paint Recycling Program

Will County's Paint Collection Program allows residents and businesses to recycle unwanted paint at select retail locations. All sites accept up to 5 gallons, with some locations accepting more. Find a participating drop-off site here (link).

Battery Disposal Reminder

Batteries are banned from disposal and curbside recycling in Illinois. Will County supports retail battery collection sites, with expanded services beginning in January. Click here (link) to find a nearby battery drop-off location. 

String Light Recycling

Will County has partnered with Three Rivers Public Library District to offer string light recycling through January 31. String lights can be dropped off at either the Channahon or Minooka library branch.
