Please be advised, the contractor performing the Dove Dr. Reconstruction will be paving the asphalt surface course in the near future.
-
Paving of Asphalt Surface Course is scheduled to begin the morning of Friday, May 15 contingent upon weather.
-
Residents must not park in the street the night before and day of paving.
-
This work may temporarily block access to driveways during the Contractor’s operations. The paving is expected to take one day to complete.
-
Dove Drive will remain open to local traffic, but please be alert of signing and flaggers. Access to driveways and intersections may be temporarily blocked in the immediate vicinity of the paving operation until the asphalt is compacted shortly after.
-
A bituminous materials tack coat will be applied to the existing surface a few hours prior to paving the surface course. “Fresh Oil” signs will be erected by the Contractor. Please be advised that driving on the oil will cause oil tracks onto driveways. These tracks will not be cleaned by the Contractor or the Village. If these tracks are not desired, park your vehicle on side streets to avoid your vehicle tires from coming in contact with the oil until a few hours after the paving is complete.
If you can avoid traveling on Dove Drive, please do so. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation during this period of necessary work.
