The Village's annual hydrant flushing is scheduled for the week of September 23 for the streets highlighted in blue on the map below.
During hydrant flushing, some residents may experience temporary water pressure fluctuation and water discoloration; this is a safe, normal part of the hydrant flushing process, but residents may want to consider delaying doing laundry until the lines are clear. Hydrant flushing is a normal preventative maintenance procedure for the Village's water mains and hydrants.
