“Gifting for Thrifting” is a local organization run by Minooka Community High school students that collects and then donates clothing through pop-up thrift stores. From November 4 through November 8th, a collection box will be provided at the Channahon Village Hall, 24555 Navajo Drive.
Volunteers are needed to help sort and fold clothes at Minooka Community High School – South Campus cafeteria on November 9th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A free pop-up thrift store event will be held at St. Mary’s Parish Center in Minooka on Saturday, November 23rd from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Free clothing of all ages, sizes, genders.
